Today we read chapter 1 of Narrative of the life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave.
For homework you need to finish the reading questions and the vocab context clues chart, as well as looking up the definitions for the additional 20 words.
This book contains a lot of words that will be new to you; take this opportunity to expand your vocabulary. Having a strong vocabulary will give you a great advantage when taking the MCAS, SAT/ACT and when doing creative or expository writing.
You also need a three ring binder.
